Galo is an Italian contemporary artist well known throughout the world. A graduate of an art school, Galo specialized in graphic design. He lived for more than 10 years in the Netherlands before returning to Italy, where he became one of the precursors of European Street Art. He works jointly with internationally renowned artists. His works are exhibited throughout Europe, Japan and the United States. An original artist, he paints on almost every possible surface, notably on ceilings, old walls, electrical panels, floors, bicycles, cars but also on parts of the human body such as the stomach. He also paints on canvas and paper. The characters in his works are recognizable, they mark his own style, in particular with disproportionate limbs and quite familiar and amusing faces. For him, his art is a communication tool, arousing positive emotion.
